Cover letter in your voice

Dear hiring manager at Linear,

What drew me to this role isn’t the title or the company — it’s the way Linear treats craft. I’ve been building products for six years, and the work I’m proudest of…

I built this for my wife.

Jill recently moved to the US from the Philippines, got her work authorization in January 2026, and started job hunting. Watching her grind through applications and still feel behind, I built her a Morning Stack. She wakes up every morning to a fresh stack, ready to go. The hard work is done baby, just click apply.

Then friends saw it and asked for theirs. So I built this — for her, for them, for you.

Questions people actually ask.

Q1
What if the cover letters sound like AI wrote it?
We feed your own past writing samples into each one. They sound like you, not a chatbot.
+
Q2
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. If you cancel during your 7-day trial, you won’t be charged. One thing worth knowing: the download links in your morning emails expire 7 days after delivery — save any files you want to keep to your device before then.
+
Q3
What job boards do you cover?
LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, and direct company career pages. Every match is verified on the company’s actual site before it makes your packet.
+
Q4
How do you do that without getting blocked?
We read public listings gently — logged out, at normal rate limits, at 4 AM while you sleep — the same pages anyone can see without an account. The real browser comes in at verification: every role that survives is opened on the company’s own careers page and confirmed live before it makes your packet. Logged-out only, so we never need your LinkedIn or Indeed credentials.
+
Q5
Do you ever send the same job twice?
No. We never repeat the same role, and we won’t pitch you a company we’ve already pitched within the last 30 days.
+
Q6
What about scam postings?
Every job is verified on the company’s actual career page. If we can’t find the role on the company side, we don’t include it.
+
Q7
Do you auto-submit applications?
No — and that’s deliberate. Automation owns the discovery, research, and drafting; you own the final submit, on the company’s actual career page, under your own name. A bespoke package, not an auto-apply firehose.
+
Q8
Is my data private?
Yes. Your resume, writing samples, and applications never leave your account. We never train on your data.
+
Q9
Are there career paths this isn’t a good fit for?
A few. We’re built for jobs that get posted to job boards or company career pages, which covers most of the workforce. Where we struggle: fields where openings live on individual practice or shop websites and hiring happens through direct outreach instead of online applications. Hands-on clinical work (dental hygienist, nurse — not healthcare admin) is the clearest example; some skilled trades and niche academic appointments fit the same pattern. If your field works that way, you can still try us — just expect lower volume.
+
Q10
What types of resumes do you accept?
Both PDF and Word (.docx) — but the format has a real effect on how much we can tailor, for a technical reason worth knowing. PDF is an old, print-oriented format: when a resume is exported to PDF, its fonts and exact spacing get baked into the file, and that layout information doesn’t really live inside the document. That makes PDFs very hard to edit without breaking the formatting — so for a PDF we change only the keywords that fit cleanly into your existing design, and leave the rest untouched. A Word document is genuinely editable, which lets us rework your wording to align tightly with each job posting. We’ll tailor either one — but if you want the deepest, most job-specific customization, upload a Word (.docx) version.
